My Next 10 Years

We are in times of change; not just with the new year and new decade upon us.  It’s the overload of too much information, short attention-spans, and seeking quick-fixes that are killing our minds and our spirits.  Even the pursuit of stress-relief like meditation is causing feelings of inadequacy and not doing it right, enough, or at all.

Year end reflection typically brings questions of, “Who am I?” and  “What have I really accomplished this past year?”   We often struggle to recall the good stuff because we’re clouded by all the things that went wrong. Instead, let’s reflect back on the past decade.  What changed in your life that was significant? What small events or life changes started as tiny steps and collectively lead to something amazing?  What accomplishments did you achieve or pivots did you make that changed the trajectory to where you are now?

Finish these statements…“I’m glad I added xxx to my life,” or “Thank goodness I decided to xxxxx….”

Now apply this to your Next 10 Years.

How can you influence your next decade by modifying the people around you, daily actions and habits in your life today?  What can you do NOW to help your future self in 10 years?  What do you want your life to be like?  Who do you want to become? If you are 40 now, what changes can you make in your physical, mental and social health that will positively impact you by age 50?

Say this instead...

In #MyNext10Years, I want to....

Plant Your Flag

Here’s your challenge.  Let’s plant your flag on sustainable habits instead of trends; on small changes you can make now that will have a compounding impact years to come.  Success isn’t a place you get to, it’s who you are and the path you walk. We hope you will join us for the upcoming Small Changes Challenge starting on December 30, 2019.

Stop looking for the hottest trend.   Fitness isn’t easy, but it’s doable.  Nutrition isn’t easy, but it’s doable. No one joined FirePower thinking it was going to be easy, but they found the courage to try something different and intimidating.

Our last 10 years were pretty darn incredible.  But we are BEYOND excited for our #Next10Years.  We hope you bring your flag and join us too.
