FirePower is a co-ed, family facility and all are welcome. But sometimes the girls just need to be girls together! We have a few special programs and opportunities for our FirePower lady-members to connect with each other whether to share ideas and support, or train together.
This is a closed Facebook group for our current FirePower women regardless of what program you are in – boxing, CrossFit, personal training, nutrition coaching, etc. Ask questions about your fitness,nutrition, motivation, and more, or simply read the messages and ideas from your fellow she-beasts and comment if you are comfortable. We also post details of our special girls-only get togethers, events and more! You won’t find a more supportive collective group!
Time to get lifting! Olympic lifting is a big part of our fitness. Most women have never touched a barbell before coming to RCFP. Barbell Bettys is a supplementary program to CrossFit wods and will focus on barbell work, technique and strength building. Its open exclusively to FirePower She-Beasts, lead by one of our amazing female coaches, Jen (Turtle) Young! Bettys meet 1 day/week on Sunday afternoons, and receive optional 2 homework workouts for during the week aimed to improve strength. Next session starts April 3rd.
Yes, you read that correct. We blend the 2 best things in life. First we do a fun team-based workout. All skill levels are blended into random teams. We cheer, encourage, celebrate, and sweat together. Afterwards, we share potluck apps and wine! New members are welcome and you can bring your fav girl friends. These events are posted on the She-Beast FaceBook group. So get patched into that online group to keep in the know!
